Hamburgers or Hot Dogs?

I like tofu burgers and sausages but those are different from hamburgers in sausages

Hot dogs make me a gag, i mean....they're good, but...i just gag when i put it in my mouth...

All beef hotdogs. The darker grilled, the better. With lots of ketchup and relish.

I don't particular care for hot dogs. Pig is not a meat I eat frequently.

Vegetarian, however Boca makes a passable burger and Morning star makes a pretty fair Italian sausage. I do cook both for my family though, they chose to be omnivores.

I love both.

I hate hot dogs. The only way I can eat them is if they're burnt.
Contests like these ruined it for me.

A Hot dog wrapped in hamburger and bacon.

No kidding???!! I've never heard of that before! You know, that might be interesting to make.
Of course the calories and cholesterol will probably choke a horse.

Cliff used to make them with Theo and then Claire would get mad.

I never watched that show much! I wondered what it was-looked like a monster sandwich.

It would be fun to try and make. I was wondering if you just wrapped all the meats up and baked them or fry the bacon, wrap around the hamburger and hotdog and then bake????
I like to try and figure things out like that.

When we did it was all on the bbq. Hebrew National Kosher dogs and some Costco hamburger patties. Kinda seared them hot quick and while the burgers were still rare wrapped the dogs in bacon then the burgers moved to a higher rack and smoked them a bit more done.

Sesame seed Hotdog buns. Had some sweet relish (Not for me thanks), grated sharp cheddar. wedged tomatoes, diced purple onion.

It like eating at Pinks in Hollywood!

Me too! It's enough to turn your stomach learning about "by-products" they add!

As a former health inspector, those by products are lips and a$$holes, and any thing else they can sweep up from the slaughter house floor. Bon apetite dude!

UGH! Those companies are allowed to manufacture that crap for human consumption? There should be a law! How about "chicken" hot dogs? Are they safe to eat or have alot of "junk" in them as well?????

They use every part of the chicken except the beak and feathers, want clean safe meat? Get a chicken breast sandwich or fish filet. That or hunt your own. Also, there are laws. The food industry along with the department of agriculture have strict rules as to what they can put out for human consumption. Did you know that some fillers are paper? Yep, there is a reason this old red neck won't eat meat from this country. If I do eat meat I have either shot and butchered it myself or caught it out of the ocean. The chicken you eat has never touched the ground and is full of estrogen and anti-biotics, same for the 'store bought fish' you eat. Vegetarianism sounding pretty good about now?

Both are nasty! Hamburger because of the grinding and potential for additional surface area and 'fillers'. Hot dogs for the same reason. Even ALL BEEF hot dogs have lips, eyes and rectums ground up in them! Bon apetite LizzyStiller.
