I probably wouldn't say anything. I'd be laughing too hard at his audacity and inflated sense of self importance to get any words out and he'd eventually get bored and just leave.

one of the reason my husband left me is because i got to big...no matter how much i worked out or ate good i couldn't lose the weight and suposealy he couldn't stand looking at me anymore so much for love in sickness and health till death due us part.......i guess that's what i get for giving him kids

Also, I anticipate a lot of people in this thread calling this hypothetical guy a jackass. Let me tell you, even if he doesn't say this straight to your face, there's a good chance he's thinking it. Many guys date average or unattractive girls, making a gamble that it will pay off. If it's a very good looking guy and he courts an unattractive girl, she will feel flattered, but also pressured to lose weight, wear nice clothes, get a nice haircut, so she looks attractive enough to be with him. Also she'll be easier to manipulate because she probably has lower self esteem. Many guys operate this way, moulding their girlfriend to be more attractive, and if she won't pick up on the subtle pressures to look more attractive, he'll dump her.

Not many truly nice guys out there, ladies. Most are just pretending to be nice.
