I dated a guy that was ten years older than me and then I married a guy who is six years younger than me - both experiences taught me alot about life - I am still married to the younger guy and we will absolutely grow old together - I do believe I am happier than I would have been had the shoe been on the other foot - he does things to make me happy - he brings me a lemon cupcake home as a treat and he also brings me my first cup of coffee into my bedroom if he is home when I wake up! So yeah - in my case - the younger man was the best choice

I just had to add in that my mum warned me about 35 year old men creeping around obsessing over 14 year old girls on the internet.. she didn't tell me about the 14 year old girls creeping around obsessing over 35 year old men

Tho i am male, i will answer this.

When i was younger i tried dating older women, and both times i had to deal with all their insecurities that drove us apart. I tried a few around my age, too much butting of heads. Anyone remember when they were younger everyone said something about girls maturing faster than boys...well, that doesn't last long. So the best ages to get along are those whose maturity levels match.

My wife is ten years younger than me. We have been married for 7 years and it's the best relationship we've had all our lives.

Dating ? Sure why not? The majority of men I date are in their 30's but it's just dating and not a relationship of any sort.From my past experience,having been married to a man 22 yrs.older for 10 yrs. I know the difficulties such a large gap in age and experiences presents.Life and love should be simple ,why add unnecessary issues ?

- May be you are talking about the kind of relation could be exist , but sometimes it`s not a matter of age , feelings ,fun, love fusion of humanity between two persons find each other ,so ,the gap you mentioned that is truly happens when they have only a relationship for a period of time, and ,finally i respect the nature laws.

Well, it's not to say I never would. But I am 31, and I have two children. I want someone settled, stable, done with the "party scene". Someone who is settled in their career, someone self sufficient and ready to deal with family life. Realistically you don't often find that in men in their 20's.
