Yes, anything that occurs must be blamed on Obama.

A 21 cent drop in 28 days is less than a cent a day. At that rate it'll take until way after the election to get down to where it was when Obama took office. I believe it was somewhere around $1.87 a gallon. Nothing for dems to brag about with this story. Say, have you seen inflation like we're having today any time in the last 20 years? That's the story we should be talking about.

now ken, you can't fool me. I know you are smarter than believing that any US president has any impact on the price of gasoline unless he/she has legilated such (which none have).
It's cute... but why do you hide your intellect behind what you know is crap?

Where did I ever say anything like that? Not in my comment above. Since we're attacking each others intelligence now, I suggest you try to gain some reading comprehension skills. Perhaps a class or two at your local community college?

Today (and during the Bush years), blame for high prices is due to world conflict and world gas requirements. However, when the price of gas increased to a high in 2008 of $4.11, then dropped to $1.61 before the year ended, the credit (or blame) should go to Wall Street abuses and the financial industry melt down.

I paid $3.28 for mid grade today! Woohoo!

France's credit rating dropped, Greece's issues, etc....many factors used in manipulating the cost of oil. And then right around the corner is Memorial Day!...let the spikes begin!

Sucking us right in to be comfortable with over 3.00 a gallon gas when at the end of 2008 it was 1.87 average

    Works doesn't it

Cable company deregulation - prices have soared
Phone company deregulation - prices have soared

The largest mind bender is - look at the taxes on both I listed since the deregulation

I hope they ARE declining. I don't make much money and can't afford to pay over inflated prices for gasoline. It's about time things came down in price.

the sad news is that oil prices have falled globally because of the european situation. So it might help gas prices, but if the euro is threatened so will we be because we invest so much money over there. Either way, you'll end up paying for the uncertainty....

It's time to find our own resources and stop going to the middle east for them and stop investing money we can't afford to give. They have us by the balls and they know it because the !#$#$#$! EPA won't allow us to take care of our own. Their excuse is "Oh, we'll destroy the enviroment". Well, already people are being destroyed not being able to find jobs and making ends meet. Not everybody has or makes good money, I sure don't. I worry about my own security, that's enough, and it's scary enough trying to take care of me especially with health issues I have.

we've been doing just that. That's why we're aiding Brazil in its huge finds in the Santos Basin. But guess what.... people are complaining about that. Instead of getting oil from brazil, a stable, modernist country, we'd rather keep on with the saudis.
Some people can't make up their minds.

Fun
