It's not just Catholics, but all Christians who are being mistreated. We're not suppose to call Christmas Christmas, can't have Christmas trees or nativity scenes (don't want to offend others) but no one else is sticking up for the Christians.
I'm a Christian and proud of it.

May God turn His eyes on our country and heal us.
May Christians everywhere realize that standing up for our rights, IS our right.
The Catholic church is one of the biggest providers of charity services. These services are provided to people of any faith, and to those who do not believe in God. They have food banks in just about every town and city, they have hospitals, they operate homeless shelters, they take in orphaned children, operate centers for battered wives, councel drug addicts, and operate schools, as well as helping out flood and fire victims with food and clothing.
However, there has been a growing movement to force the Church to except as employees those who commit actions the Church does not condone. They are being forced to provide abortions as well as contraceptions in the new health care bill. When the Church protests, they are met with closing down thier charitable facilities when they do not comply. This has happened on mass scale in Ill. as well as the cities of San Francisco, Boston, and D.C. ...

At a time when so many people are down and needy, the government is saying we can do better than the Church and we are taking over for them.
This protest is about defending the right to be Christian. It is about acknowledging our Christian heritage and influence throughout this nation's history. It is about saying we christians want our voices heard and our right of worship to be a liberty not taken away or demonized, but respected. We are at a critical time in our nation's history. Fortnight is a call out that we will not go silently into the night to be no more.
I will stand with the catholics and I will pray. And I will vote.
I'm a Christian and proud of it.

Uh oh! Yo'Adrienne has banned me because i have an opinion different than hers! In the old days, when the RCC told nations what to do, the RCC would have burned me at the stake for heresy! or disemboweled me alive! or put me on the rack and torn me limb from limb! AMEN!!
about the Catholic church.....that's his problem, not mine....He could be civil and less confrontational. I just posted something I believe in.....THAT"S the freedom of religion I was referring to......I don't know why he even bothered to read my post......He adds nothing but sarcasm, and cynical thoughts to something I felt I needed to post.
important and sensitive subject......I'm not asking for a fight about the Roman Catholic Church......Guess I just snapped....TOO many libturds pulling my chain! lol
using your "space" to send him that "delightful" message......Thanks for your, always
uplifting and sensitive comments....
party line QUEEN.....thanks for your comment.
So, whatever group you belong to will lose your rights as well, but that's ok in your book. Using morality against a religious belief as a reason to drop the belief is a hoot. Your prayers will most likely fall on deaf ears, but pray to whatever god you do, but I don't believe it's a Christian god. Also pray that all of the black churches lose their exempt status too since they are very vocal in how their people vote. I suppose you'd suck up to them though, they are mostly Democrats.
Disemboweling you would leave too much of a mess. I wouldn't bother, I'd let God take care of you. The bottom line, Mark, is that for someone who professes to pray for your wishes, you aren't much of a Christian. I guess you belong to one of those LWNJ churches that hates Catholics and your preacher screams from the pulpit how bad Catholics are. You probably even think Catholics have horns. That's the kind of backwoods mentality they used to have in the South in the 40s and 50s.
BOOM, Queen.....You rock!
United we stand........thank you each and every one.!
