Hard for it not to when you live in it; or next door to it. I'm on that side of DFW.

Nope. Can't say it has, and can't say I've ever been there ... because I haven't. Sorry.

I live just outside Fort Worth and love the area. We've weathered the slump in the economy better than most of the country and it's growing unlike other places.

Fort Worth has only crossed my mind when I was driving through there instead of Dallas on my way home from Chicago because it was quicker with less traffic.

Not so much Fort Worth but Texas in general does daily. I have several sweet friends who live there and others born and raised there basically transplanted to another state.

    I heart Texas

I actually lived there briefly as a child. Still had relatives there through the early 1960s. Been back--passing through--occasionally over the years. *meh* It's just someplace in Texas to me now.

I have never been to Dallas, I don't take well to that kind of traffic - it makes me extremely nervous. I only go to Houston when I want to see my sister and her family or if it is work related.

50 yrs ago in the AF, I saw D/FW, Denton, Henrietta, Brownsville, Valentine, Abilene, Wichita Falls, Pecos, El Paso. The only thing I remember is that the beer is pathetic.

I don't know...I would have been in 8th or 9th grade, and Dad did all the driving...it was his employer's annual conference. My fondest memory was of the CEO's daughter who came over, took me by the hand, and twirled me into my first dance. I must have looked like a crippled frog but it was awesome.

Also recall going shopping with my mom. I was into basketball at the time, and that meant always buying up jerseys and tube socks. Went back to Ohio with jerseys that said Arlington, Grand Prairie, and half a dozen other places I never heard of. But for the next couple of years back in Ohio, I had the only one of them!

All the time. But it helps when it's within driving distance and has some of the best bars (read music venues) in the area... Not to mention its not full of prissy miscreants from Dallas. ;-)

all the time, my company's corporate office is there. I'm about 2 hours away. It's nice but I usually go to Dallas or Arlington for leisure trips.
