I thought I was pretty clear. :-) I don't/wouldn't buy another GM vehicle--and not just because they're owned by the government but because they've made such crappy products in the past. I *used to be* a GM customer.

The government 'bought out' controlling interest in GM as a part of the last bailout. It was either that or the company would have gone bankrupt. Same for Chrysler if I remember correctly. The ONLY U.S. auto company to have refused bailout money was Ford.

By far the better truck is the FORD PU, ACROSS THE BOARD. F150, F250, F350, F450 pickups are all far better trucks than the Chevy's. Heavier frames better mileage better engines.

The only thing FORD screwed up on is dropping the NEW Ranger from the lineup in the US. Forcing peope into the F150.

The Ford F-150 can't argue with sales stats, the ford F-150 is the most sold vehical of ANY kind in the WORLD of any make, must be a reason. here is my little red 150 at 24 years old and still running perfect.

A straight 6, 300 Ci. Fuel injected, and I LOVE this little truck. as of right now she has a 154,344 miles.

Sweet! My company truck was an F-250 diesel, one helluva truck.funny thing is your truck gets better gas milage than my little red truck, 15mpg, of course I do a bunch of in town driving, but I doubt it will get much better than that on the Hwy.
