For those of you who did not watch the Super Bowl yesterday, what did you do instead?

spent time with family, talking and catching up....I should be crucified, shouldn't I???

I went out to lunch with two friends. One was not interested in the SB. One talked about it quite a bit and even though she said she was taping it, seemed a lot like she'd rather be watching it. We then went shopping for a bit. Then she went to drop me off at home and we found a dog wandering around, so we caught it. No collar. I grabbed a collar and lead and started asking the neighbours if it was theirs. After a while, a kid rode up on a bike and said it was his. My friend went home and discovered that while she had attempted to tape it, it hadn't worked. She was devo.

Poor thing, lol. Sounds like an interesting day though.

talked to my wife, read, had lunch, took a nap, ran some errands, watched a movie at home with my wife ...

I had several tv's on. The super bowl was on one TV. But was watching the puppy bowl on another tv. Cooked dinner, would watch a bit of the game. Ate dinner while the power was off at the game. Started watching Iron Man II, flipped back to the super bowl during commercials. Saw the last 4 seconds of the game then went back to Iron Man and then put in The Avengers after it was over with.

I've never been in an IKEA store. Why does the store make you hate yourself?? Just curious?

It was like a maze. It isn't like a regular furniture store, slash Bed & Bath, where you just walk in, get what you want and go. No, you have to parade through an Abyss along side other annoyed and angry shoppers to finally get to where you need to go. I had my twins in their stroller in tow, and one man ran right in front of me, I almost ran him over, even though it was his fault he snarled at me. Ugh! Horrible experience, but I might go back for the dollar Cinnamon rolls someday. lol

I guess it's the theory of.... the longer they can keep you in the store the more stuff you will buy.
People should go out to their website and start making comments and complaints about the way the stores are laid out.

I know, I felt like it was a waste of time. I drove about an hour and a half to get there for nothing.

They are draining. Ugh! That name is so suiting for Wal- Mart. Lol

I spent a lot of time over at my Tax Accountant's Office in the Flood Building on Market Street, yesterday . . . And I did watch some of the DAC; Dead Actors Channel, though.

BTW, my Tax Accountant suggested that my wife & I might want to think about "Getting Re-Married" someday, but as a "Homosexual Marriage" and then as two Homosexuals, we might also want to think about "Filing Homosexual-Married; But As Individuals" instead of Filing a Joint Return. We just have to wait and see if this Supreme Court is going to pass us any more Laws or what, and the IRS have to follow-through with whatever they plan to do . . . No matter what the People actually vote for; it's irrelevant, anyway. We'll see. Hmmmmmm? . . . . For sure, this guy in the White House has already Polarized me down to the Low-Class. I am no longer a Member of the Middle Class.

Would "homosexual marriage" be the actual term used on the tax return, or would they use another term? Whatever it is I am rooting for you! Just for future reference, don't register at IKEA, unless you hate your wedding guests. LOL ( :

Ahaaaa! That Question must have entered the Coversation a half-dozen-times, at least. With the Supreme Court re-writing all the Laws and going against the EXTRA-HUGE Majority of the U. S. Citizens, it could be the "New Supreme Name" on everything even related to the old-out-dated-term of "Matrimony" . . . . . BTW, thanks, I will need all the support that I can get. I will probably avoid any IKEA . . . .

I LOVED IT! Seriously, it was a really good movie.

It looks funny.

There was some humor but they didn't over do it or make it corny and stupid. Great soundtrack too.

I want to see that movie so bad.
