I love it :) And I'm really good at doing awesome nails :) I've had people come over and I've done theirs. It normally takes around 2 to 3 hours though :0 but that's cause I file their nails and everything and do their cuticles and such :) I do really fancy stuff :)
my friend did hers about the cooki monster (and 4 cookies) and the funny part is, the cooki monster finger nail broke before she even got out of the house!
First of all I cook everyday and work with my hands in water a lot so that rules out having any fancy manicure since they all will chip within a day. I just file and buff my finger nails. In summers, I would have a pedicure with crazy colors. The fingernail arts don't do anything for me since they'll all chip and it would be expensive as well as impractical to keep up.
Like any form of art, not everyone can do it. Some people like tattoos, but only a few can really do them well. Nails, like skin, or canvas, or drawing paper, is just the artists easel...Piercing, now that is a different story....nothing like looking into the face of your cashier at McDonald's and observing a pierced lip that is still red and swollen, or the same with an eyebrow or nose..."Would you like fries with that order?"...Next....
Love it, but ONLY when it is NOT painfully obvious that they are press-on/glue-on plastic crap nails! If you are going to go through all of the work to paint nails in unique ways, make sure they fit properly first!
Not too loud, but just enough to catch your attention. :D

all cute.
art is live...
combination of the two is a creation...
Guess, I'm too old fashioned, so wife cannot kick the bucket before me.
