The beaches of Hawaii are my favorite places. I love going to swim at the ocean pool in Kaka`ako Waterfront Park. It's on the island of O'ahu. You can watch the surfers come and go. I've spent many a day there. :)
It's soooooooo much fun! And very relaxing too, once you have done it a few times.
I've never done a night dive though. I think I will be a little freaked out the first time I try that (assuming I get up the nerve one day).
no im sorry i ment to put my mum's cuz (cusin) :) sorry i typed to fast :) hehe he went two years ago at the age of just 34, he was either at hostpital or at hom when he died and he went diving in the florida area i think :/
Ah, now I understand better. I dived off Key Largo a while ago. We didn't go more than 15 meters deep, but some very beautiful fish and corals in the Pennekamp sanctuary.
Yeah, me too! Let's go together - ha ha!
Actually, a long time ago, I took a course at the YMCA in San Antonio TX. I think it was 5 evenings in the swimming pool, plus one river dive and one lake dive. There was about 1/2 hour of homework between each week's class. I didn't go diving in the ocean until several years later. Now, I try to go about once or twice a year, when I'm in Florida, Mexico or in Thailand.
I suppose the best swimming I ever had was the beach on base at Kanehoe MCAS. Beautiful tubes daily. I was there the better part of three years and the waves were never under 7-8 feet.
My favorite place to swim would an unknown imaginary land where I can actually swim, but since no such place exists, my favorite place to swim is in my dreams.
Pool .. mostly on Military Installations
Nowadays with the blindness .. I need to be able to swim within lap lanes ..
