Being a Seattlelite, I like all of them. Having driven through his home town many times, I can see why he was depressed.

I loved their "unplugged" performances-I think they were the 1st to do this, wern't they?

His hometown is Aberdeen, which is right on the way to the ocean-which is why I've driven through it alot. It's kind of rainy & dark, & not alot there. Perhaps it was drug use that contributed to what happened, who knows? Around here, people still think something else may have happened to him.
Didn't have time to read the stuff, yet, but it seems to me they did an unplugged performance before there was the MTV show by that name. Seems like because it was so popular of a performance by Nirvana, that they ended up starting the show-I may be wrong-it's been awhile!

A friend worked on the house awhile back where KC was found, on Lake Washington. So sad that so many musical geniuses pass so young....

The Seattle music scene was really awesome, with Nirvana, Soundgarden, Alice in Chains, & Pearl Jam.....

It's what they first termed-alternative-I believe.

Give me it anyday, since it's arrival, over the rap stuff-which seems to finally be loosing steam.

Before alternative, give me rock-n-roll, or blues.

My favorite song of theirs was "Rooster"-what an incredible song-one of those perfectly crafted songs, & really shows his astounding voice.
