I think Aragorn should've ended up with Eowyn instead of Arwen. Of course that would completely change Tolkien's classic, but I still like the idea.

Boromir. He's much more morally ambiguous and therefore more realistic. He represents humanity's desire to do good, but falling into the temptation of trying to do good by morally reprehensible actions. He's a microcosm of humanity itself.

I agree in a lot of ways. Great character. Aragorn is flawed too, but not quite as morally torn.

I disagree, Eowyn was attracted to him for all the wrong reasons. That wasn't well portrayed in the movies, unfortunately. But it's true nonetheless.
Besides, that would only have brought heartbreak sooner, seeing as Eowyn wasn't going to live another hundred and twenty years.
No, Arwen was his proper match.
And by the way, no offense, but Eowyn was King Theoden's niece, not daughter.

I have a lot of favorite characters but my all time favorite is eowyn she's brave smart and just a great person.my others would be Sam bc he's was the real hero not frodo without Sam the ring would have never been destroyed I also like pippen
