    Tuatara. It's a reptile found in my country, New Zealand, but I don't know if, strictly speaking, it's a lizard. Tuataras have been living, virtually unchanged, since dinosaurs roamed the earth.

    Actually, it's a Tuatara. It is endemic to New Zealand and has existed since the Triassic period.
