Dell, then IBM.

I have found HP's customer service to suck and therefore no need to risk that gamble.
Sony is overpriced, Compaq is HP's bitch, Toshiba is history and Apple... is just Apple.

do you remember the Acer and HP's? the one's with tiny little cooling fans that burn up the motherboards??
and the old Dells that over-heat; and have MB issues?
IBM's?(Lenovo) do not have these issues..so spend your dollars on over-priced stuff chinese..I'll keep my 4 IBM Laptops; R50e; R51
R52 and R40...and they run Windows 7 and Linux great!!

Lenovo bought the rights to IBM's laptop. I just got a Lenovo ideapad Y570 gaming laptop. They're also much more reliable than those hipster apple computers.
