his life was a little bit ( little bit , wow, what an understatement ) of a shambles.
sorta like the kinda guy I would hang out with in my wilder years...
his mental / emotional side ?
or the combination of the mental with the work he puts to canvas ?
I also like this, Britain's favourite painting "The Fighting Temeraire" by Turner showing a beautiful sailing ship "The Fighting Temeraire" being towed to the breaker's yard by a nasty little tug.
