really like the self portrait ..
his life was a little bit ( little bit , wow, what an understatement ) of a shambles.
sorta like the kinda guy I would hang out with in my wilder years...

Christ that is tough, I like most of them. But my favourite painting is this "Girl at the bar of the Folies Bergeres" by Eduard Manet who is not listed here.

I also like this, Britain's favourite painting "The Fighting Temeraire" by Turner showing a beautiful sailing ship "The Fighting Temeraire" being towed to the breaker's yard by a nasty little tug.

Love Monet and his use of color. I also like Norman Rockwell and Georgia O'keefe. I have a framed print of Georgia O'Keefe.

I learned about most of these artists in my art class and did a project modeled after one of their peices but Edvard Munch and Georgia O'Keefe were my favorite.

I love both Da Vinci and michalangelo both are amazing i love monet and his use of color and thomas kinkade(cheezy i know but still pleasant to look at he owned a gallery near my town and would vacation here and paint local scenery he has a painting of morro rock which is a local landmark. Georgia O'keefe was so different from what everyone was used to she was a real pioneer in the art world and especially being a woman! that was a big deal!

I think his paintings look almost like photographs. It's a link, halfway between a painting and photo.
