Nope; I dont agree at all.

We already have enough meaningless 'control freak' laws and regulations in life; why add more to a voluntary entertainment website?

Let people write their questions exactly as they please within the parameters of the TOS; if someone posts slanted or biased questions, we all always have the choice to ignore them.

What's wrong with freely choosing to dissociate from those who offer no choices in which you are interested? Why should SH adopt coercive policies?

First of all, it'll never happen. Secondly, who gets to decide what's fair and unbiased?

Sorry, but I gave 26 years of my life to ensure the loon on his soapbox at the corner is entitled to proclaim his own stupidity and ignorance at the top of his or her lungs. Intelligent, reasoned debate is enjoyable, but some just don't care to engage in that. In a country that claims to believe in free speech, that's their right, no matter how uncivil they seem.

Biased choices are typical of what I see on Sodahead across the spectrum. Everyone has
their cause and decries anyone with an opposing view as demented, deranged, a LWNJ, a RWNJ, an idiot, ad infinitum, ad nauseum. I haven't seen anyone attack somebody's mother yet, but the day's still young.

That would violate free speech. And just who will decide if they are fair and unbiased? That could be a very subjective and unfair process.

While I understand your point, you have to remember that, the question being asked was created by that person, and mandating anything would violate free speech. It's their sand castle to build, so to speak.
What you or I can do......and what I've publically warned anyone now sending me questions, is that, if you're only going to provide "yes" or "no" answers to your questions, or very limited options......expect me to boycott or delete it.

Just as it is their free speech to ask a question, no matter how biased, unappealing, or limited, and to whatever degree we find it maddening with the answer menu, we are also free within our speech to delete or by-pass the question. Sooner or later, the light will come on for all but the dimmest bulbs that they're being ignored.

    Power to the people indeed.

That's the "big government" leftwing mentality that's been curtailing and restricting our freedoms, while posturing themselves deceitfully as being "liberal."

Control freak "Progressive" commie-socialism is at odds with classic Liberalism, which espouses greater freedoms, less control and smaller government. Unfortunately, for America, the Democrat Party was hijacked by the "Progressives" from the true Liberals.

Imposing rigidly conforming answer choices would also deprive folks of utilizing such answer choices for satirization purposes, or to get a point across by "over-kill" type sarcasm when a question asked is largely rhetorical.

I'm here to be entertained, only that and nothing more; this site is merely a vehicle to that end.
