Anyone who has an opinion that can only be explained in 140 characters or less isn't worth listening to. It's honestly way too compact. It's nice for small celebrity updates, but for day to day use?
Now, personally, I hate what Facebook has become, but damn, it sure is nice to write a couple paragraphs ranting on a subject, then be able to document it and show it to others. Or hell, even write poetry.
Can't do that with only 140 characters. Or is it 160? It's been a while since I touched it.
HOWEVER, there used to be this kickass program that let you turn your computer on and off, run programs, and manage applications REMOTELY using Twitter. It stopped working. So I closed my account.
