I like ladies that have guys as best friends but still have a feminine side. It really doesn't matter too much what their like its who they really are they matters most to me.

This is coming from a successfully married man but every good quality man is looking for three things.
    1. Smart
    2. Sexy
    3. Funny

Everything else is just window dressing.

Of course, some factors will compensate for others, but generally, as stated: kindness, humility, sweetness, tenderness, complexion and a nice rack of meat.

I also don't want kids, so I'm not interested in someone who wants kids desperately. And because I can turn almost anything anyone says into an innuendo or an insult, I want someone who has a sense of comedy and somewhat thick skin. (Your mind is now in the gutter, and I'm happy to put you back anytime you want.)

And like Lord Emperor (below my comment, if anyone asks), I want someone who likes hugs and holding.

I would like to find a refugee guerilla girl or preferably a sturdy combat vet with a serious case of PTSD, over the years I have discovered that they make the best companions for my late night Ambien sleep walks, and the discussions that ensue when considering the many courses of action that could be undertaken... Specifically, one that won't lie about me behind my back cheat on me or drop me because I said something she did not agree with that particular day. Know any?
Why I say the more people I meet the more I like my bird and dogs.

I am a woman who knows that a GOOD! woman will never turn her back on her mate. I talk to my husband about everything. If I can see him I'm talking to him and if he isn't listening that's OK. He can trust me, we are happy with our life together. A woman who tells you everything is a keeper. See for yourself.

You definitely are a keeper and your husband one lucky man.
But just telling everything doesn't necessarily mean she is trustworthy. I actually wish she hadn't told me EVERYthing. Ugh. -TMI. One reason it didn't last. . .

Most that cheat do it on the sly. But some do it in broad daylight. Then blame it on you all the while playing amateur psychologist. I don't know of much that's worse than that. Enough. I can sail my own ship, TKS.

Thank you! My husband appreciates me. He says calls me a beautiful delicate flower. Sounds like you have not met your flower yet. I will tell you a good woman doesn't have ugly secrets because they don't do ugly things. Their personality is open and solid with nothing to hide.

I agree with you. My grandmother was true to her man to the end. But it was undeserved. He was a playboy or so I am told. He never said a word and we were the best of pals. We went fishing together. Shows you can never know. He was part Cherokee or do I'm told.

But was it my fault I picked a loser? I didn't see any other choice. Others had played me like a fiddle only to be serious lost causes. ...So where was I to go?

I am happy for you both. But according to the latest reports I am too old to make up for lost time. Maybe the Red Man had it right all along:

"We hunt and fish all day long. Then go home and make love to our lady all night long. ...What the White Man thought was he could improve on that..."
    (-- Native American tale)
    I rest my case.

(Edit) ...I picked a "loser" who went on to have her own self-made lucrative business, personal web page and husband who apparently dotes on her no end. Enough. I can see I am boring you. Back to my bird and dogs. And airplane. : p'

She would have to tolerate me not wanting to see any of her friends/family EVER. "You want to visit my parents for Thanksgiving?" "Lolno." And nothing on this planet will get me to go. She would have to tolerate me spending large amounts of time alone, and if she bothered me with something stupid while I'm writing I'd be pissed off. So she'd have to deal with that too. She'd have to deal with me never wanting to eat what she wants to eat, never wanting to watch what she wants to watch. I'd be completely selfish in a relationship which is why I likely won't have one for a long time to come.

She would also like being held for long periods of time while we did damn near nothing.... I guess sex could factor in at some point.... but pretty much some one who could be my best friend (and more) some one who wants to spend the rest of her life with me.... yeah I go for the long haul I don't like short term things
