Debt ceiling; Now I get it!

SO - Allow me to explain...
Let's say you come home from work and find there has been a sewer backup
in your neighborhood.

Your home has sewage all the way up to your ceilings.

What do you think you should do? Raise the ceilings or pump out the shit?

Raising the ceiling is never the right answer unless or until you've dealt decisively with the root cause of the rising flood of toxic sewage (unsustainable debt). If you don't, the toxic sludge just has more room to grow and grow.
