I've always had great experiences with Amazon. The ordering, delivery, and customer service have all been easy and quick. I once received some faulty electronic equipment (no fault of Amazon) and they promptly sent me out a replacement before I even sent back the original shipment. They even expedited the delivery. I was impressed.

Craigslist is creepy, but when I had to sell my car and some other stuff before Moving, it was the easiest and the fastest.

Craigslist is full of creepy people... I used to Ebay a lot but got E screwed by the thieves at Paypal. I won't ever get anything from Ebay again, even if it doesn't involve Paypal because they are the SAME ... they pretend to not be but they are.

I have had so much trouble with Ebay i closed down my account. If you file a claim you will be luck to get half your money back. My Paypal account got hacked and my checking account got emptied. I got the money back but it took some time.
I like amazon I haven't had any problem with it. I do my own research on. thing before I buy. sometimes the descriptions aren't all that great

Paypal and Ebay are really one. Paypal is a criminal organization as far as I am concerned... they do that to everyone. Best thing is to use a credit card and dispute through the bank. I stopped using ebay because of paypal myself.

organization concerned credit card dispute bank stopped ebay paypal Paypal thieves

I delete my payment info once the package is shipped.
Paypal told me I couldn't do that anymore so I try not to use them.

Craigslist is a breeding ground of trouble.

E-bay is annoying. The bidding process, and wait time for shipment, takes too long.

Amazon was always reliable, with the products and shipping.

Actually all three have their place. I will check eBay but most times the prices are higher than on Amazon or elsewhere on the web.. it depends on what item(s) I happen to be looking for. Craigslist is OK but that is usually not so much of an online thing... it can be a little more difficult to deal. I don't think anyone wants to waste time. But I have gotten some really, really good deal through that site. The majority of my purchases do go through Amazon because I can get free shipping.

I think it is possible to get scammed, but you kind of figure out over time (if you have common sense) what ads to stay away from, right?

My one negative Amazon experience was with a clothing retailer in NY state. I ordered a Team Jacob hoodie for a girlfriend's daughter a few years ago and it took them 2 months to get it to me, instead of the 10 to 14 days promised. But that wasn't Amazon's fault. It was mine for not checking the seller's customer ratings before ordering. They had horrible ratings and tons of negative comments for being perennially late on shipments or getting shipments totally wrong. For the most part, my Amazon ordering experiences have all been great. Most of my stuff gets to me ahead of schedule and in good condition.

Amazon you can just go on and buy new! I've always hated eBay. You have to worry about bidding on some used thing you might not even get, and practically EVERYTHING is Paypal, which I don't have!

I buy on eBay, which I admit I am a little addicted to at times! I have only ever had one problem. I also have never used Amazon, but after viewing these results am curious to give it a shot.
