Whenever some new style of music that has a loud, compelling, unique sound, and some dark style comes out, and teens are the most-interested, you'll see articles like this. Marilyn Manson, Alice Cooper, KISS, Dio (Who died, BTW), Slipknot (I could go on and on)...etc. Have taken it. And it's all a load of crap because of loving, worrying parents who will often hear rumors spread by people who don't want it around,

You don't have to acknowledge it either, people have been doing this to music and other forms of entertainment for decades (if not centuries). You're young so it kind of feels like it's just an attack on you, or your music.. or whatever, but it's really just the same old crap, new generation. You're gonna see it done to the kind coming up under you, you'll see it done to your kids, and you may see people you grew up with doing it to some other generation.
This is just how people work.
