In 2001 dozens of Babies were make in a lab using the DNA of a third woman. Could it be that mother nature knew what she was doing when people were childless. I know it is painful not to be able to have children when you want them but how far should we go? Read link below

Human evolution via technology. Wow very interesting, thanks for posting! My imagination is just soaring, I can see many applications to manipulating our genetics, in time (future) humans will be "super human", the down side, we are in the early stages of gene manipulations, and there is a price to tinkering with human DNA.

Perhaps nature does know best in the end -- time will tell -- but if we going to use the natural course argument then should we also give up all the medical progress that keeps half of the babies alive and healthy today that would otherwise have parished or been severely disabled by age 12 only a century ago?

perhaps if adoption was not such an horrendous obstacle people would not be so willing to do this.

I agree with you on that, adoption regulations are insane. The bureaucracy is so worried about perfection and covering its azz in the name of the child's best interest that it has become totally dysfunctional and ends up serving no ones best interests but its own.

I agree with you and U-Dog, I am in the long process of adoption now, and I can totally understand those who would go outside the US to adopt children.

I think part of the problem is due to abortion there are not many babies out there to adopt
