In Oregon, they don't. There are only five states without a sales tax though. Oregon, Alaska, Delaware, Montana, and New Hampshire, I don't think any of those states have good weather. I live in Oregon and it rained this week and it's summer. It was nice in the afternoon of Tuesday, Wednesday and the morning of Thursday though.
Here in California the land of fruits, nuts, and liberal foolishness we're lucky the air we breath isn't taxed considering the money we're pouring into services for illegal alien criminals.
It's 7%. I'm glad I know this, because nothing is more annoying than just barely not being able to cover the sales tax on a soda from Speedway or something.
6.25, NH does not however they have the highest per capita real estate taxes, without the schools, municpal water or sewer and other services provided by other states.
