Meant to select yes. Florida's general sales tax rate is 6%, though most counties tack on a percentage or so. I pay 7% where I am at.

Tax in most of TX is 8.250%, some places are higher, some are lower.

In Oregon, they don't. There are only five states without a sales tax though. Oregon, Alaska, Delaware, Montana, and New Hampshire, I don't think any of those states have good weather. I live in Oregon and it rained this week and it's summer. It was nice in the afternoon of Tuesday, Wednesday and the morning of Thursday though.

Haha the weather sucks here though. I should remind Mother Nature it's summer. But she doesn't know what season it is half of the time here.

Here in California the land of fruits, nuts, and liberal foolishness we're lucky the air we breath isn't taxed considering the money we're pouring into services for illegal alien criminals.

It's 7%. I'm glad I know this, because nothing is more annoying than just barely not being able to cover the sales tax on a soda from Speedway or something.

6% to 7% depending on which county, but not on grocery store purchased food. That helps the working poor a bit.

6.25, NH does not however they have the highest per capita real estate taxes, without the schools, municpal water or sewer and other services provided by other states.

Yes, Texas does have one. Oregon is the only one I have ever been able to take advantage of with no sales Tax. I know there are others. like Alaska.
