When I was in Southeast Asia and the Middle East, I never burned and was actually darker than the natives.

In my own country, I burn badly.

I don't know but I had some nice tans in the desert and in the jungles.

Then I get blistered rafting on the American River in Sacramento.

i burn within the first 5min im outside and peel later that night, i so pretty much avoid sunlight even tho i wear like a mask of sunblock

I tan good if my skin doesn't peel or blister. I've had 2nd and almost 3rd degree burn once.

I tan but it comes out uneven or peel.

I used to be able to get a tan very easily without trying. I didn't even realize how dark I got until I looked at some old pictures of me as a kid. These days I can sit for hours with a ton of sunscreen and not get very dark.

I don't care about having one these days. I'm fine with my complexion.plus it's unhealthy.

I use very strong sun block, don't lay in the sun very long, or not at all. I usually go swimming then leave. I did live on a tropical island, and in Africa, but avoided the sun as much as possible. As a teen sun lamps were very popular. I sat in front of one too long, my skin burnt was very blistered. What is strange, after my skin healed, I had smoother, younger looking skin. The top layer of skin must have been burnt away. Many skin creams contain ingredients that remove surface layer facial skin.
