but thats just me. ive needed glasses since i was 6, and ive grown up with them. if its someone whos getting glasses for the first time in middle school or high school and are already insecure it could have a negative affect

For definite. I don't feel one bit comfortable wearing mine I think everyone is staring. That's why I refuse to wear them outside the house and I only wear contacts in town:)

they ain't staring though :) ....glasses don't make a person, it's just part of life for most of us. I felt that way when I first started wearing mine, but that was in 2010. What is more important, is that you feel comfortable wearing them... :)

I've been wearing mine since I was 10 and now I'm 17 and I still have a huge glasses phobia. I literally can't act normally when I wear them it feels like I'm wearing a block over my eyes. I know it's stupid but I'm not exaggerating. If I run out of contacts I wear nothing. That's how bad they make me feel.

Haha ya I hate contacts but ya get used to them. And lazer sounds scary:-D you look cute in your glasses though. That's the difference.
