It's not that there are so many people that advocate the homosexual life style. It's that the majority of us that don't, are too busy trying to make a living and live our lives. But when we have an opportunity to speak our minds, or show our support, we do.

I had never eaten their before, now I do.

The Left's fervor for squelching free speech has to be resisted at every opportunity large or small.

Actually, even if it did, there is no Chick-fil-A anywhere around me anyway.

Although, I think that their views on same sex marriage are ridiculous and deplorable they have a right to their opinion. I don't eat there because they are expensive and their food isn't worth what they charge. So, I guess I kill to birds with one stone. I save money and I don't support a company that has hateful opinions of something that has nothing to do with them.

It makes me want to eat there. They have a right to support their religios beliefs. I live in an area with a high Mennonite population, and some Amish. I've found them to be wonderful, real people.

Yes, everyone has a right to his/her/their views. This is the United States of America and that is gospel truth under the appropriate amendment. But when an established business supports *and* needlessly broadcasts obvious, biased hatred and antiquated distaste for the gay population, then I will not support that business. I have a right to choose where I will spend my money and feed myself...and I will not patronize a place that espouses any kind of enmity for people who happen to love members of their own gender.

The fact that I've never seen a Chick-fil-a before in my life and do not visit the States, so I probably won't ever get a chance to eat there does. However, if I do get the chance to eat there-- which is very unlikely-- I probably won't.

What ever has happened to freedom of speech? So what if Chick–fil–A doesn't support gay marriage, that is their opinion! It's not going to make their food any better or worse!

You can call them ignorant for not being a supporter of same sex marriage, but it is also all you who voted "Yes" who are ignorant for forcing your opinion down seemingly everyone's throat. You are ignorant. It's you.

Why should it. When a decision on any subject is made because you don't like someone because they don't agree with you is really bad. I appreciate that the gays want certain things and they have the right to free speech. I totally disagree with their motives and actions when someone uses their 1sr ammendment rights and the gays do not like them exercising their free speech and go into action in a negative way.

Because this country is "supposed" to be all about freedom and equality. Preventing intelligent, committed and loving people from the privilege of entering into socially recognised marital unions flies in the face of that ideal.
Aside from that, I'm just not that wild about fast food chicken and besides Popeye's is a lot better in my opinion.

First of all, he has a right to express his opinion the same as gays have a right to protest his businesses. I am more concerned that he doesnt discriminate in his hiring practices. If he has no problem hiring gays, I dont have a problem with him. I probably wont eat there because I dont eat fast food chicken much and if I do, I would rather go to popeyes mostly because they have great sides.

So the main reason is that it isn't in your town. I'm in a big city and I'm aware of only one chic-fil-a. Yesterday the lines were very long but the people endured the heat for personal reasons.

The Chick-fil-A's in central Florida have terrible food that is greasy, nasty tasting, and undercooked. I will avoid them also because I don't want some extremist to murder me while he/she shoots up the place.

I say they have the right to speak their mind, but like you it is a very low priority for me.
