A Sprite or ginger ale can be refreshing and soothe a sour stomach, but it really isn't thirst quenching. I like to put a slice of lemon or a plain tea bag in a pitcher of ice water while I'm at work. That really does the job!
Hard to answer this question as I hardly ever drink it. When I do, it's because I'm wishing for a swig of soda. It satisfies that. It's always been hard for me to force down any beverage other than my coffee.
No way! Soda is actually scientifically proven to dehydrate you and even the diet soda will make you fat. Just start drinking tons of water and keep a water bottle in your hands for the first week or so for the mental part of it. It works! I did it a few years ago. I used to drink so much pop for years, now I hate pop and I lost about 15 pounds after I stopped drinking it.
I heard the dyes in Soda are so powerful that they have the capability to chemically alter your melanin stocks and throw them out of whack. And the more Soda you drink, the more out of whack your melanin stores become. Soda also possesses the ability to induce super human abilities in its drinkers. In '48, Truman put together The Sodengers, a team of Sodaholics who had grown to possess super human qualities. Thus commenced the the revolutionary war between Florida and Tokyo, and in '51, George Bush announced the end of the black plague and Genghis Khan's death, creating world peace through Socialism and Obamacare across the globe. All thanks to Diet Coke.
Well both yes and no.Sometimes it drys my mouth really quickly. But taste so good and sugary. That i wanna drink more of the soda. So that quench my thrist.
It usually does. Water or gatoraide just goes through me like water. So I end up thirsty again. Soda may dehydrate you but its not an issue if your not really doing anything physical.
-cherry dr. pepper sure is good though-
