    No, not always, at least. And some private doctors and hospitals are just interested in their patients' money.

    For the most part, the best and the brightest are going to follow the money.

    It is like comparing a personal lawyer to a public defender, who is going to get paid, no matter what the outcome is.

    Neither. I think you will always get better treatment if you can pay the high rates, but many National Health Service doctors, especially surgeons, have world class reputations. But I think they do private work as well.
