Music sets a tone - it can make you sad, energized, inspired..etc..I did a presentation on the psychology of music and how it can be useful in business. A lot of restaurants, shops, etc...use a particular type of music to encourage people to take their time and shop - or a type of music that discourages people from getting too comfortable - etc..I thought it was kind of interesting.. some restaurants use a different type of music - with maybe a little faster of a tempo..for example than a store. Restaurants want tables to open up - they don't want someone hanging around forever whereas a store might want people to take their time and browse. Music gives certain stores an attitude or an edge too - like stores that are geared toward younger people - in the malls especially - they use music as part of their brand. And some jukeboxes in bars set a tone too..they load the jukebox up to encourage or discourage certain customers. It lets the patrons know what kind of place it is.

I guess you could say music inspires me to live. Whenever I'm feeling down, I listen to inspirational music and it really helps..x

Music is my inspiration for all that I write about and compose. In real music I feel the love, the vibe, the harmony, the tranquility that emit waves of inspiration that bring about compositions like no other. I work better with music and even perform instrumentally, vocally and write compositions in harmony.
My favourite genre is Western Classical and in Modern blend its Michael Jackson (my all time inspiration and the love of my life - hehehehe, still say it after 30 odd years) although I do listen to various other bands and harmony.
