    It bothers me when they have pictures of other people claiming to be them.

    I understand some people are shy but I like to see who I'm talking too. Makes you feel like they have something to hide.

    I don't put up real pics here and I don't blame anybody else for not doing it either. There are just too many whack jobs on this site and absolutely no privacy.

    It doesn't bother me at all. Why should it? I have an imagination and am perfectly capable of using it to "put a face" on the person I am talking to.

    For many people it's a safety issue, especially on a site such as this, where there seems to be many unstable people.

    It doesn't bother me in the slightest.There are probably a myriad of reasons why somebody prefers not to put their pic. on SH. That, of course,is their choice-and their's
    alone. Having said that, I do believe it helps to put internet communication between people on a more personal level when you can see what they look like. Always assuming. of course, that it IS actually THEM in the pic. they have posted!!

    I don't use my pic. Why do you need to see me so badly? I don't even know you and you certainly don't know me. The internet allows us some anonymity. I also don't really use my legal name on the internet. Does that bother anyone?

    I doubt anyone would really care to see my old mug and I can certainly understand why the ladies and kids might not prefer to share their own pics online.

    Umm for me Sodahead is more of a platform to express our opinions than a social network. I don't know a single person personally in my friend list so it really doesn't bother me if they don't have a picture of their true selves.

    ONLY the ones who continually boast about their beauty,sexiness,but refuse to reveal their age or pic,then berate others who use their actual photos.I call them "internet phantoms",figments of their own imagination,they have zero credibility with me. I sometimes use my own image as a background to thumb my nose at their obvious insecurities,I am not beautiful I am 57 but I am authentic and can only be me.Thanks!

    Well, my security is pretty high, but my ex is very creative. he managed to cancel my car insurance, twice- years after our divorce. He is clever, and well connected. SO, I keep my face off and use names that can never be traced back to me or associated with me.

    Security is fine, but hackers have proven they can get around ANYTHING if they want to.
