It makes my insecurities come to mind, I think some people just stare because they like to "people watch", but others do it in a rude way which is very unappreciated on my end, I hate it!

I find it incredibly annoying and feel uncomfortable when someone is staring at me. So when someone is doing it to me I just return the stare untul they feel uncomfortable as well. Yes, I know that I have some scars on my face and stitches on my forehead, I don't need your stares to remind me.

No, but then again, I'm pretty oblivious to my surroundings. I probably don't even notice it. When I see someone who has dyed their hair purple or has several peircings on their face or is wearing a shirt with something funny or controversial on it, I stare. A couple of times people have gotten angry and said, "what are you looking at." My usual response is, " I thought you wanted attention."

no but I love to mess with people when they just stare at me I stare back (pensively) or I keep looking around trying to figure out what they are looking at? What time I even walked up to someone stood next to them for a sec or two and then asked them what was so interesting that they were looking at?

I feel like they're trying to find the answer to a question, decide who I am, or read my thoughts, and I don't like that feeling of judged or evaluated that I get when people stare at me. Yeah, I look different that most other people, so what?
