Does it annoy you when people use one letter texts?

What I mean is when people use an actual letter instead of typing out the actual word. not just texting people do this on chat too. like "k", "o", "y" and "r" are perfect examples. ticks me off beyond belief. i always feel like if you cant talk to me like an educated human being dont bother typing at all. does this annoy anyone else or am I OCD lol.
