    What? um... yeah, why wouldn't it? Vegetarian can save 100 animals a year.

    Indirectly, but yes. It's a supply and demand issue. If less people buy the meat, less meat will be made.

    By going vegan you can save up to 1000 animals/year by not eating them, wearing them, or using them as entertainment. How? Because your not taking the marketers product and the less people that buy it the less animals that get killed because they are not in as much demand.
