Does anyone else feel worn down by life? Like the effort to keep putting on foot in front of the other is almost too much effort.

    I did feel like that for a long time. I had no hope I let myself go gained alote of weight and didnt care because i felt like it wouldnt matter. i was depressed i didnt talk to anyone. i even thought about what it would be like if i just never lived anymore. then one day i looked in the mirror and was tired of it. And thought I want to try to make myself happy again. So i went around more people started talking more and started going to the gym! im still working on being happy and hopeful, but at this point in my life I can actually see a bright future..

    I wish you luck. My life was great when Ariell came into it. She was almost everything I had ever wanted in a woman. Then she left and I am still trying to recover from that.

    You know what your a strong man! You'll recover from this and i know its hard to get over someone you love, but the easiest way i found it to keep yourself busy you know hang out with friends, go see a movie with someone, visit some family. Dont be alone <3 because then that will make you think about your past and we dont want that for now till your strong enough to move on by youself

    Used to feel like that a lot l but lucky I now have an off switch in my skull. Learned through meditation took me years of practice. How to turn my mind off, connect with my senses and listen to what is going on outside and not to my thoughts.

    Never have, maybe I falter for a moment but then I have my competitive idea coming in. It's really ridiculous but goes something like this. "Life I will not give you the satisfaction of taking me out, if you want me gone I'm gonna make you fight tooth and nail for it."

    Oh crap...The VA doc tried to get me on them ...I refuse to take 'em. So I found other alternatives. For one, I keep busy with my mind on fun things I like to do. And I take DHEA supplement...it's a male mood pill ....work good too...You should try it ...will put a smile on your face :)....

    Yes, I'm there now. But I force myself to look back at all the changes that have occured and their timeframe and I realize how quickly things can change. So I just wait for the change. But the biggest thing that keeps me going is friends and being involved with them to an almost crazy pace. Then I'm grateful for the down time and the peace and quiet doesn't translate into lonely. And I spend less time on issues and worries. Make sense?

    Sure. I think everyone feels that way sometimes. Although I often feel won down by life, I almost never feel bored or hopeless. There's always something to do, even if it's reading a book or just sitting watching the river flow. And I don't feel hopeless because there's always something I can do to leave the world a better place than I found it. Even if it's just picking up a piece of litter or petting a dog.

    About all the effort I am up to is to go vote and in my state, my vote doesn't make any difference. Obama stands no chance of winning my state and in my moocher Congressional District, the near Marxist Democrat is assured to be re-elected by more than 4 to one.
