Does anybody need a break from life..?

very much so. with a visit from my friends so they can come too

more than ever...

it would be great to go to an alternate universe where you dont have to deal with your problems

Sometimes. When I do, I sit on my porch, watch and listen to my waterfall and I'm in another world. A world without stress or burdens.

NO! I need to get a life!!!

I would love to get away so I could get out of my own skin. Taking a break is an understatement





It's time for a new beginning

I am in serious need of a road trip. If I don't get a change of scenery every so often, I go stir crazy

that would b the greatest gift of all.

A break would be nice.

I can't speak for no one else, but I need a break from regular routine activities. I need to just take time for myself and just relax my body and mind in a quiet place and forget about the cares of this world for a couple of days!

Got to be careful with what you wish for; life consist of good and bad, ups and downs, you got to learn to roll with the punches. To want a break from life could be disasterous, it could mean death. I know exactly what you're talking about. But it can't be done sadly enough. I just want a weekend, a DAY! to just relax and not have to anticipate something, worry about something, you know?!

While I don't think that the world will dish out any more than we can handle, I also believe that we need breaks from time to time to process it all. I desperately need a break right now. 5 funerals in 4 months, two of which have been in the last week, on the exact same day. plus, in the past two weeks - a friend in the hospital, my mom getting tested for breast cancer (it wasn't, but for a full week, we were on edge waiting), another friend's car nearly getting repossessed. It's been psychotic.

I just want to relax, stop worrying about all of this, and stop wondering who will be the next person in my life to die. *sigh*

Edit: for those who say that the world does dish out more than we can handle, I never said all of us handle things well. ;-) just that it's never more than we should be able to handle. ;-)
