Does anybody else get nervous when they go to the doctor/dentist/etc?

I hate needles. And I scared to go to dentist. I don´t like teeth extractions.

Really hate them. Today for the first time, had a cyst removed. I was really really nervous.

I get nervous when i see my doctor

I had all my teeth pulled so now I just go get my dentures checked. Everytime they had to give me a shot to relax me

I get worried that they are going to send me to the mental ward.

When a child ..
it was a rarity to go to the dentist ..
NO painkillers ..
(and my teeth were so out of place that Braces were a Necessity .. as well as cutting up my jaw to free up so many impacted teeth)

there was NO anesthesia considered ..
(it was refused .. )
my parents and I had to pay the bill ..
(something that we couldn't afford)
so to this DAY .. my blood pressure shoots up into the stratosphere ..
and I'm very UNCOMFORTABLE in the Dentist office
(I've actually BENT the Arms on the dental chairs .... trying to avoid thinking about the dental cleaning .. )


I've actually improved though ..
since when I became an adult
I made sure to pay premiums for Dental Insurance
that includes anesthesia for any dental work ..
and keep up with MY Routine every 6 months cleaning and appointments ..

I hate needles... plus a dentist is a doctor too... so I hate all em

The bills scare me .

They don't scare me but I am always annoyed that I have to go and my blood pressure goes up until I force it back down. It's a bother!

Use to be scared to death of both, now it's just with the dentist, I'm moving up in the world lol

I'm always scared I hate like anything medical and the dentist still sucks too though

i get so nervous as soon as i walk into the dentist office. i have to have gas just to get a cleaning

you were so fortunate. they didnt give me anything. to make it worse it was my first time being there so I had blood everywhere. It was like sitting in a torture chair.

i won't go to a dentist that dosen't give gas

Doctors still scare me more..

Because I have braces and when I get them tight it hurts.
