I have not, since puberty, been able to wear a battery operated watch. Within a few days, they slow down, lose time and ultimately stop working. I can change the battery and still nothing!

I even went so far as to buy a clip watch and hang it from my belt loop or purse strap...and after no more than three days, same thing!!

I also kill the batteries in cordless phones and they never work again. I can drain a cell phone battery-with it just on and near me-in about 36 hours.

I obviously have a higher level of electromagnetic current running through my person...but, it gets very frustrating!!

*PS-my mom has the same problem, and we both have minor psychic tendencies*

I have a box fully of lovely watches and I cannot keep them working. It's our energy field that seems to drain the crystal in the watch. I finally found a cheap wind up one but ha I lost it. now I just use my cell phone for the time and alarm.

I don't have that problem but my mom used to. When she was a teenager she couldn't wear watches, she had to get one on a necklace and that worked for her. But it's gone now, she can wear watches all she wants.
I've actually heard about this problem before and its not as rare as you might think. Just a freak scientific occurrence from too much electricity in the body. Not to call you a freak or anything :)

I have heard this from other people. One who causes computers to go haywire when he walks into the room. Wierd hu?
Try a self winding watch instead of bat power. They are only mechanical in operation.
They stay wound up unless you don't wear it for a week.

Wow, have you taken any psychic tests? You can buy "test yourself" ones.
My ex-wife had some ability. As a child she predicted her grandmothers death.
It took a long time before she realized that she did not cause it!

Not really..mine is more the "creepy" feeling you get in certain places...telling mom to call me..or calling her and her saying, I was telling you to call...and, knowing that there is energy here, that is not of "this world"-in my home....

The strangest two incidents I've had: going to an old boyfriend's, sister's house..and not feeling comfortable in any room but the kitchen..seeing their master bedroom and a heavy, uncomfortable feeling climbing to their master bedroom loft..then finding out that her ex-husband used to beat her in that room and NEVER entered the kitchen.

And, when I had an open house in a foreclosed home and heard footsteps coming down the back stairs from the upper level (after I ran through the entire house) and just having a heavy "terror" feeling...later I found out that both the husband and son were "gang" members and murdered.

    Just frickin' weird!!!!

Yes I have the same problem. I kill every watch I put on with in a few days. I have a problem with my ipod and my cell phone and my camera and my pedometer also. It drives me crazy. You should see me when I go away I have to pack a bag of all the electric chargers. I quit wearing a watch. I can only where 14kt gold. I love silver but I ruin it in one day. The shine is gone and my neck or wrist or finger turns green. I wish I new what causes it. My daughter has the same problems.

Not quite to the extreme as you, but I gave up wearing watches because they never keep time.

I do know someone with that same problem but not to the extent that you described here. Maybe you have an alien tracking device embedded in your body...

Check out where it's made..some times it's Mexico, sometimes Canada..but, we never purchase China!

Of course, as I have a killing effect with most technology..it's probably easier!! :)))

I have seen this happen to others, but not to me. If you ask an expert, they will probably give you a standard comment like, "There have been no studies that prove it."

Both my grandma and mom have the same problem. I've only worn a watch for approximately two years out of my entire life, but I never had problems. I do, however, put out street lights very often while driving at night, when I pass under them.

I'm editing because I forgot to tell you, my last laptop would do the same thing! Luckily, I haven't had the same problem with this newer one...yet!

There are three watches laying on my dresser with relatively new batteries that slowed down and eventually stopped. I even have one that doesn't have a battery but works by the movement of your arm. Slowed down and stopped.

I don't have that problem, but Snarkosauras, my granddaughter has that problem. Car electronics act up when she is in a car. The speedometer gets wacky, her microwave oven and more stuff. It is weird.
