I think i like someone that is 1 year and 7 months younger then me does this matter??
And today at school a group of my friends and i were walking past him and i walked away and they yelled out his name and asked who he was and one of his friends told me that he had said that he was avoiding me, what should i do about this??

As for him avoiding you, give him space, after what you said he read today he's probably shocked or confused or doesn't know what to do..
