You already can. Just hit the "update" button to save the changes. I change one detail about my username every time I block someone as the number in my username is the number of people I have currently blocked.

My name was given me by a shoshoni girl who was the night clerk at a hotel in the serria , she had closed circuit cameras and was trying not to address the fact that the heat in my room was not working . I sneeked under the cameras and caught her point blank and made her give me an electric heater . She started calling me "sneekyfoot"form then on .

I didn't want to deal with a regular registration so I logged in using Facebook which, of course, used my real name. Oops! I think if I tried registering now using a username I would lose my account and all my questions and answers so I'll live with it. I'm old; not much chance of a looney-tune stalking me anyway...
