Do you wish Sodahead had a better tracking system of previous related topics so that we have less repetitive questions/polls?

I wish they did. On another site that I used to belong to, the tracking system would put highlights to the topic you were trying post ( regardless of how old it was) as to avoid redundancy.

I don't know if they would, but they could make such questions inactive. I just like a better tracking system to keep repetition down to a minimum.

As for the doctor, why did he scold you? For doing your job? That's something that really gets my ire up. It's not like I love to talk them at 3 am because I enjoy it; it's to get needed medical help for their patients that I care for. Do you have a grievance procedure? I do write up MDs for inexcusable behavior.

i was angry that he was dealing with a patient dressing (post lapratomy) with his bare hands no gloves !!! no goves at all..what the hell? he said :thats not your busniess and i got embaressed ,,,ahh i hated him.they don't wash their hands in proper way (the 6 steps) they use SOMETIMES only Alcohol !!! alcohol ? are you serious ?..!!

If that patient gets infected, that MD will have a serious problem. Is there any way to write him up or report him?

i am new here..and the worst thing that this is ICU .. you know what the means for sure.
they think they are smart !! ahhh i hate them.
beside L1 he is higher rank than me so i don't know.

MDs rank higher than me too, but we do have a grievance and reporting system in place. Try to see what your workplace's policy is.
Patient safety comes before MDs egos.

thank you...it has been a month ,,since i told you if they scold me i shall talk to you about it..you said ok.hahah...it was a very long tiring month...it is hard when a nurse is sympathetic rather being empathetic.right?

I've been there, believe me, and it still happens. It's hard because we nurses are professionals too, and some MDs don't see it that way. We nurses and MDs need to work together for the well being of our patients.

I think MDs need to be educated in med school to see nurses as collaborators rather than hand maids. It's a start, but we got a long way to go.
