I would speculate that the country wouldn't be having the economic problems that it is experiencing now.

He was one of the greatest presidents we have ever had, it's too bad those days had to end.

I'm just making this post for fun, I like Clinton.
He would think this is funny.

I'm really tired of the Clinton's. But, no doubt about it that Bill had a better idea of how to run the country than Obama does. With a Republican Congress, the econcomy was good during his term. But, it's time for him to retire. There has to be other good business people willing to run for President.

The economy and lack of deficits during the Clintoon years were a simple byproduct of the country's demographics. The great majority of the baby boomers were in their most productive years during that time period.I remember it well as they were my best earnings years.Common sense should tell you that it was not the result of political genius.lmao.Give me a break.

There were deficits but less because he cut our military by 69% and now we need to call out the reserves to fight 3 military insignificant sand trap wars
  • Miss UT Grayfox... 2011/04/16 05:06:59
    Miss UT
We are fighting sandtrap wars in Afghanistan and Iraq because of Bush. We are not at "war " with Libya...not in the same sense as other wars. We are merely part of a coalition. We're not sending our young men in to Libya...not like Bush sent over 4,000 to die in Afghanistan and Iraq.

Just think if we kept his surplusses, he didn't go on vacation prior to being warned about 911 and bush never trashed the economy.

What expense of our defense? The fact bush ignored the pdb and went on vacation while 911 was being plotted for 9 months on his watch?

I read a couple of very upsetting books about 'Slick Willie" Bill Clinton. He is not the man people have been led to believe he is. By no means should he have ever been president in fact he did more harm than good, and next to helping pass NAFTA, and other free trade bills that took jobs out of the country, he tried to help strip Social Security and send it to the stock market. According to a book written by one of his State Trooper bodyguards. He helped the CIA ship cocaine into the U.S. through Arkansas while he was Governor, and when, even some republican Governors refused to open their National Guard Armories to the CIA for their fake Contra War after Congress had withheld financing, Slick Willie was more than willing to do it. He is a snake for sure and there are many issues that many do not know. Gary Webb brought out the story about the CIA/cocaine connection, and it got him fired from the San Jose newspaper, and not long after he was murdered. Oliver North, Colin Powell, Bill Clinton, George Bush, Reagan all complicit. Clinton and Hillary are a whole different story.

The things you can learn about Clinton will blow your mind, and as it is, much of the things that are out there to learn are difficult to believe. Believe it or not!

Well, let's see; in the last 35 years, he's the only president who didn't contribute massively to the national debt nightmare (he even showed a surplus.) reagan started the trend with his useless military build-up (like Russia was actually going to attack us with all the nukes we have; remember M.A.D.?) as his cronies were sending America's manufacturing base to China (gotta break that unionized middle class). Then there was bush 1 with the first gulf oil war and the Savings & Loan collapse; then clinton, then the bush 2 nightmare, with his two unwinnable stalemates-for-profit and near-complete economic collapse (and a nice, fat bailout for his rich cronies) at the end of 2008. Yeah, I'd say clinton would be a quantum leap over any of the collection of idiots we've seen as president since carter.
  • Grayfox... Dickens 2011/04/16 02:27:52
