Back when I was in college. It Days of our Lives was funny back then when Marlania was possessed by a demon lol. That was twelve years ago. I'm over it now.
All my favorites are now gone :(, they were All My Children, One life To Live, As The World Turns and Passions, I also used to watch Another World with my mom when that was on.
Sometimes I do watch Days, but haven't been a fan since the Sami leaving Lucus for rapist EJ storyline. And I do watch General Hospital here and there. Love that they brought on OLTL characters.
When I was younger, I watched the Days of Our Lives, but I haven't watch any since then. That was back in 1986, too. What got me to watch it is my sister got me hooked on the love affair between Another World's Cass and Kathleen. Man, my sister and I were stuck to that screen ever day Cass and Kathleen came on. It was addictive. After that, I never watched another soap opera again. Here's Cass and Kathleen:
That is how I got addicted to soaps, my mom made me watch them with her when I was suspended from school, I used to make fun of them before then and next thing I knew, I was obsessed.

I watch True Blood -- I consider that a night time soap of sorts.
