Would you want a surgeon getting ready to do major surgery on you, stoned? Not me. Would you let a stoned babysitter watch your kids? Not me. Would you let a person that was stoned drive your family around someplace? Not me?
Why is it that so many people who want to ban smoking are the same people who want to legalize marijuana?
I tried everything, had every test imaginable, and finally my doctor prescribed Amerge. It would knock the headache in about 5 minutes. I haven't had to take anything for a long time, and I haven't had a headache for about 3 years. It was a miracle cure for me. You might want to talk to your doctor.
More people smoke marijuana now than smoke tobacco, at least if you look at teenagers to young adults. I could have told you that before, but CDC confirmed it this year. The social acceptability or desirability of something has very little to do with legality. If we legalized and taxed marijuana a reasonable amount (maybe 5-10% more than standard goods but not like, 400% or some nonsense) then at the very least the government would be a bit less in the red and millions of people wouldn't be harassed or thrown in prison for a habit most people really could care less about.
I know there are others who "don't want another legal drug available to the public". But lets be honest for just a second. Does anybody know anybody who has died from the use of it? I know accidents have happened that involved pot, but the same can be said for hot coffee or cigarettes. I'm asking if you know someone who died from being on the drug itself?
I don't smoke and I doubt I ever will, but I think this would cut down on a lot of crime. It's not like people aren't getting it now because it isn't legal. I think it would make it easier on everybody, except maybe the drug cartel.
legalization has its pros and cons, but lets be perfectly honest. this is the first pipe i've had in the last 6 months, and im torched like im a prize at the Olympics. so yeah at the moment i want it legal, but there are too many major let downs for legalizing for this to be just a one-two step operation
so now i'm gonna go make a deep-fried pb&j;, so u probly know some of these cons already if ur posing the legalization question
I want all drugs legalized because, let be serius, if you want to buy them, you're gonna find them (when you are young, more easily that alcohol or cigarretes, my experience), price will be lower, quality higher, and you eliminate the "street sales" factor (mostly), can be more controled, taxes income, ...
I think it should be sold and regulated like alcohol and tobacco. Haven't had pot in many, many years but I don't see any harm in it. At least no more harm that alcohol and cigarettes.
I don't smoke it, never enjoyed the high much. I just think it should be legalised already. Or at the very least decriminalized. I'm one of those that believes it could be a great source of revenue (from vice taxes).
