Well, except at fast food joints because they don't offer it, unless I'm in New England or Canada.

No. A friend of mine from Alberta sent me some packets of vinegar from McDonald's just to prove that it existed and for me to try. It sucks.

OK, well dang. Is "Oooooh" supposed to be good or bad? I didn't mean to ruffle any feathers now. And say, it looks like you live up yonder yourself, but more south a bit and east, like Ma. or VT. NH. Say that reminds me of my all time favorite Christmas movie "White Christmas. Thank you, and Merry Christmas y'all.

I mush have been drunk when I wrote that. I sometimes wish I could take back some of my more obtuse comments. I've been in the north east, all over it, and besides those high rolling plains are clearly in the north west. DUH on me.

It's alright on potato chips, but it will take some getting used to for french fries. And that is if we ever get it way down here in MS.

There is nothing worse than stealing one of your friend's fries only to find it covered in vinegar. Granted I shouldn't steal other people's fries, but still.

A touch of balsamic glace is sometimes desired ..
(I don't use a lot .. just some sea salt and bake my fries .. )
just that nice little bite that gives it a bit of excitement in flavor
(I actually was introduced to vinegar on fries while overseas .. it was an interesting experience)

I've actually got a little local market
that has some artisan balsamic glaces sold ..
they do have a fruitiness that is just amazing ..
and you can drizzle some of this balsamic glace over the top (along with some smoked sea salts .. toss lightly) and this comes out with a nice bite of flavor ..
