If the poll is something that interests me, I will vote on it. Sometimes I will vote on a poll because the subject matter isn't one I like, but it is something that bothers me and I go off on it....

and then when I'm done with the shared polls, I just go around looking for more.. usually by category, if not.. I just go to random users' polls etc etc and vote on whenever interests me.

I think it depends on the issues discussed. Can't vote much on the subjects that I don't know very well about.. But I try vote as much as I can :)

I vote on lots of polls, but sometimes I back out before I answer a poll for one reason or another.

I vote on MOST polls. When I do, I usually make a comment and often reply to the comments of others.

Why do you back out? You can change the privacy setting of each of your votes to remain anonymous. Go to your Dashboard and view your vote history. Mark the vote(s) you want to change and change the setting at the bottom of the page.
