    I do think we should be able to remove a rave. This would be quite appropriate because:
    1)mistaken clicks
    2)changed mind
    3)edited posts
    4)previously misunderstood posts.

    Sounds good to me, although since we can respond to other people's responses I don't think it's necessary. If it's necessary, isn't more fun to call out an idiot and state the reasons they are wrong rather than just giving them the stupid sign?

    I don't see the point.

    Unpopular answers will often just get less raves.

    And those that get lots of raves will certainly be commented on by those that disagree.

    Yes unpopular answers do get less raves but popularity probably isn't the only factor in determining how many raves a post gets. I would immagine that comments posted soon after the poll they are on is posted will tend to get more raves than ones that are posted later on even if both comments are about the same quality simply because more people will see the comments that are posted early on than those posted later. I think the down rave feature could help balance that fact as comments posted early on would also get more down raves if there was the down raving feature so that the ratio of raves to down raves could be taken for each comment to determine it's true popularity.

    The only way the down rave would help is if the meanies would use it instead of using ugly words, LOL Also I change my vote if it would mean that we lose points. :)

    Maybe it will cut down on some of the nasty remarks. But they shouldn't take away points as thumbs up or "raves" give us points.

    because, I have had people trying to forced their over ridiculous thought on me as if it is a must to believe in what they say, and they would not hear your say. So they should bring it back
    SH is about everybody opinions, not one singled person

    No more than someone cursing me for no valid reason other than they disagreed with me. Personally, I'd rather see a thumbs down count if, they don't want to give a valid argument.

    With some of the juvenile answers I see sometimes, it's getting hard to tell any more! Not that I don't appreciate good sarcasm! And that's a good one! :D

    When someone likes or agrees with your opinion, you get a thumbs up, or "rave". If someone disagrees with your opinion, you get a thumbs down. I'd rather see a thumbs down count, than a loony cursing me for no valid reason.
