seems like that there are few new musicans that can compare to older songwriters and

and mucial talent....all the really good guitarists..are the older legends...

I'm a fan of Wagner, Mahler, Brahms, Boccherini, Vivaldi, and the rest, but a lot of today's music is really good too. Right now I'm jamming out to this.

Only two bands in the 2000's jump out for me. Seether & Evanescence. I am really wanting to see another Sunset Strip hair band revival. Like a new GnR or Poison.
But lately I have been going 1970's with Queen & David Bowie.

depends on what i'm listening to really. from japan, i can listen to most of it, and it's fine, but the music from america is really horrible now. i can listen to bands like bowling for soup, green day, van halen, presidents of the USA, etc even the old 80's, 50's, and 60's music that plays but other than that i can't really listen to it anymore

I'm 51 and I STILL find great music today. I just don't normally hear it on top 10 radio.

Let's not forget Courtney Tidwell, Silversun Pickups, Tal Bachman, Mumford & Sons, The Decemberists, MGMT, Coldplay, Death Cab for Cutie
