What's interesting is that gay men and straight women are often friends, gay women and straight women are friends, and gay women and men are often friends.

The unfortunate divide is often between gay and straight men. Although it's not an extreme disparity, I think that there is more concern between gay and straight men about developing friendships - and it comes from both sides.

But it's not only possible, it's awesome. At least my straight guy friends are pretty cool....

If people could just get over the fact that they like the same sex and understand that they're not doing anything wrong then there wouldn't be a problem. I have many many gay friends, and i dont have a problem with it. I love them.

Of course they can my husband is friends with two and he don't give a rat's ass what they are one of my best friends said why should sexual orientation get in the way of friendship.My husband doesn't have a problem with me and I am bisexual.

You will find people who cannot be friends with others because of their prejudices, but it is more than possible. I have both homosexual and heterosexual friends.
