Do you think some politicians put too much time and energy on winning?

It's not just politicians.

This question is the understatement of the century.

I got a phone call the other day from Mitt Romney campaign. It said that Obama's campaign spent 200 million dollars to have him re elected and that Romney spend 140 million and they have to raise the other 60 million so they can catch up. Really spending money is how you plan to win, whoever can spend the most? It made me sick.

its more a boxing match than a debate these days one reason i change the channel when the ads start up or i say heck with it and refresh the video when there ads come up , its utterly annoying

Unfortunately it's what many of them put most of their time into instead of doing their job and trying to do what's best for the country and all of us.

EVERY BODY WANTS TO WIN SOMETHING

It isn't the heart attack that I'm concerned about. President Obama has been campaigning non stop since he took office. When is he planning to GOVERN. No matter what he says or does the economy is the pits. None of his fancy teleprompter rhetoric is doing anything to help. His spread the wealth around is transforming many into a gimme mentality and a socialist state.

I prefer politicians who basically tell the public who they are and what they promise to do if elected, not the politicians who don't have a plan and spend their entire campaigns blasting the competition and making stupid comments about people who don't share their beliefs.

Case in point (If you watch enough news, you might recognize the speaker):

"I’m not ashamed to admit that I’m a Christian, but you don’t need to be in the pew every Sunday to know there’s something wrong in this country when gays can serve openly in the military but our kids can’t openly celebrate Christmas or pray in school. As President, I’ll end Obama’s war on religion. And I’ll fight against liberal attacks on our religious heritage. Faith made America strong. It can make her strong again."

I'm so glad he's not running for president anymore.
