if 13yr olds can have myspace and facebook why whould sodahead be different? besides it wouldnt stop em anyways. theyd just lie about their age. Plus why should age matter? we're just here to ask and answer questions.

Rather, I think they should have a filter to separate minors from the adults, blocking aside. I don't particularly like debating politics with someone who won't be old enough to vote for another few years.

Yes, I think so. I don't mean for censorship reasons - kids see much worse than this on TV, or the internet - but because no one under 18 has a valid opinion. Children know absolutely nothing of the world, or of life, and their opinions are irrelevant! A few times I've got involved in a heated debate with somebody, only to discover that they're 15 or 16! Just a child, whose opinions meant nothing. What a waste of time that was!

The people who actually think that people under 18 shouldn't be allowed an account here are crazy. A lot of us aren't that stupid, and some adults here are much more rude and immature than some of us. Besides, we'd just lie about our ages anyway. No big deal.

Some teens actually come on here to do things other then Whine about cutting and Ask about Boys. It's not like we don't have opinions and just because they're young doesn't mean they Don't understand more 'adult' subjects. I'm one of the youngest people on the website but that does not mean I'm naive or stupid in any way.

I posted a similar question about accepting friend requests from under 18s and the majority of people said they did. I can see the issue though, see here in the UK, it seems every adult is a suspected pedophile

Under 18 should have a FLAG of some sort to warn people from responding to children . I get friend requests from 13 year olds...Come back when your fully cooked and over the age of 18 .
